Revisiting an Old Poem

I found a poem I wrote on August 20, 1981. I was a freshman in college and dating Mark.

I Shall Love You Faithfully

I shall love you as faithfully
As the morning sun shall rise.
I shall love you tenderly
With soul and heart and eyes.
I shall greet each day with laughter
For as long as I am your wife.
I shall always love you faithfully
For as long as I have life.
